No one can separate Kashmir from India: Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s stern warning to Pakistan
As Tripura gears up for the upcoming assembly polls, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday lashed out at Pakistan by delivering a stern warning to the neighbouring country and declared that Kashmir would remain an integral part of India.
Addressing a public gathering at an event here, Singh asserted that Pakistan did not have the strength to separate Kashmir from India.
The Union Minister said, “Our neighbour is Pakistan. They are always trying to divide India or trying to create havoc in our country. They say that they will separate Kashmir from India. But they do not have the strength to separate Kashmir from us.”
In unequivocal terms, Rajnath Singh reiterated that Kashmir would always belong to the Indian territory. “Kisi ne maa ka doodh nahi piya jo Kashmir ko Bharat se alag kar de. Kashmir hamara tha, hai aur rahega (There is no one who can separate Kashmir from India. Kashmir was, is and will always remain ours),” news agency ANI quoted him as saying.
Speaking on the upcoming assembly polls, Singh said if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to the power, everyone would be safe here.
“I would like to assure you that if you form BJP government here then not only BJP’s people or common men but members of Communist Party of India (Marxist) and other parties will remain safe too,” said Home Minister Singh.
Singh also took a dig at the Congress and slammed the party by stating that there were “serious allegations of corruption”, with the amount ranging to Rs 4 lakh crores, against the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government.
